How should we choose which AI workflows to tackle first?

Start with workflows where (1) the financial or cycle-time upside is large and measurable, (2) data and process ownership are clear enough to baseline and govern, and (3) an executive sponsor can remove cross-functional blockers. Rank candidates by impact and execution feasibility—not novelty—and sequence so the first win funds credibility and funding for the next. Avoid parallel pilot sprawl: fewer workflows done to production beat more workflows stuck in experiment.
